Doxa Italia are one of the most well recognized soccer teams in Southern California, with a very successful track record that any soccer team would be proud of. The team was formed in 1997, winning the Pacific League in their inaugural season. Since then, Doxa have been successful in tournaments inside and outside of California. In 2008, the team was disassembled, but in the summer of 2009 forces came together and the team was put back on track. With a mix of seasoned veterans and some new faces, Doxa Italia are again aiming to become one of the dominant forces in California soccer.
